Science and Engineering

To get accepted into world renowned universities, you will need to achieve above-average results on your exams. This outcome is the result of the many hours of hard work put in by our students. When applying to universities abroad, substantive knowledge alone will not be enough to get accepted.

A very important advantage in the application process is the number of completed internships, workshops or job shadowing opportunities in the field of study the student will be applying for. Each student must also show interest in extracurricular activities. It is important to further develop knowledge that extends beyond the usual educational program through e.g. research projects, workshops, or conducting laboratory study under the supervision of qualified specialists.

The Swan Foundation, through its own framework or through collaborating with partner companies, helps develop the students interests in line with the expectations of the chosen university. The Foundation builds a network of companies working together to support young talented Poles for instance through “job shadowing” at a law firm, or at a chemical laboratory or psychological clinic.

For our students who dream of studying at technical universities that incorporate scientific subjects, we strive to provide them with the opportunity to participate in workshops, math, physics or computer science classes at universities, or in collaboration with our partner companies arrange for them to observe practitioners working in fields such as engineering or science.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in:
– Math or Computer Science classes at universities
– Job shadowing and assisting in projects at the Foundations partner companies
– Scientific circles related to science or engineering at universities
– Computer Science laboratory classes
– Robotics laboratory classes
– Physics laboratory classes
